Free Credit Snapshot: See What’s on Your Credit Report — Free

Updated October 28, 2026 · ⏱ 2 min read

Credit reports are long, confusing, and full of codes. The DisputeLogic Free Credit Snapshot turns yours into four simple numbers and a short explanation of what they mean — free, with no credit card.

How it works

1.
Create a free account. Just your email and a password.
2.
Upload your credit report. Any PDF credit report you already have works.
3.
See your Snapshot. DisputeLogic reads your report across Experian, Equifax and TransUnion and shows your results in a minute or two.
Every free account includes one Credit Snapshot. If your file can’t be read, or the upload fails, it doesn’t use up your free Snapshot — just try again.

Your four numbers

Number
What it tells you
Accounts found
How many credit cards, loans and similar accounts your report lists. Each account is counted once, even if all three bureaus show it.
Negative items
Accounts marked late, charged off, in collections or similar. These can lower your scores.
Inquiries
Times a lender checked your credit after you applied. Checking your own credit never counts.
Potential inconsistencies
Accounts whose details appear to differ between the bureaus.
You’ll also see where to look first, and how each number can affect your scores and your chances of being approved for credit.

What a “potential inconsistency” means

When one bureau shows a different balance, status or date than another, that’s worth a closer look. It is not proof of a mistake — reports can differ for ordinary reasons, like timing. If something turns out to be inaccurate, you have the right to ask the credit bureau to investigate it. Accurate information can legally stay on your report.

What the free Snapshot doesn’t include

The Snapshot is a summary. It doesn’t show account numbers, balances or creditor names, and it doesn’t write dispute letters, mail anything, or promise any deletion or score change. Those tools are part of DisputeLogic’s paid plans.

Your privacy

Your PDF is sent securely to be read and is temporarily processed by a third-party AI provider. DisputeLogic does not save the PDF or your account details from the free Snapshot. We keep only your summary counts and a record that your free Snapshot was used.
